One of
the children from our very first pilgrimage is 21 on February
1st, when we took her to Lourdes we were told that she had only
months to live, she is in good health and hopefully may join us
in May.
Joanne who many people will remember went to Lourdes in a coma
in 1990 celebrated her 21st birthday last August, we have had
our share of miracles along the way; most of the parents who
have taken children over the years have talked of the peace of
mind Lourdes has given them and the wonderful feeling of
belonging.
My 4 year old grandson Jacob was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes
on November 20th. 2007, he will be making his 3rd. pilgrimage
with us, our prayer will be that his mummy Melanie will be able
to continue to have the strength and peace of mind that will
allow her to continue to cope with his condition.
Without the support of the people of Holy Family Parish
over the years much of our work could not have happened. So it’s
a big thanks to all who have helped us, in particular Ray, Mary
and Carmel who have ensured that my sanity will always be in
question.
Thank you,
Teresa

Dear
Friends,
As you now know 2008 was not our last
Pilgrimage we will be going back for the
Spring Bank holiday week (2nd.
Bank Holiday at the end of May) in 2010.
I have already booked 50 places at the
Mediterranee Hotel and hope that lots of
old friends and some new will be joining
us. I really was intending this year to
have been the last but as soon as I get
to the Grotto I have to promise to come
back and I’d hate to go alone. I am
taking provisional bookings already
and some people have asked if they could
start saving in the groups account. Many
thanks to the many people from Holy
Family Parish who have supported us over
the past 21 years.
