NUALA
ABERCROMBIE

A thanksgiving Mass was held in Holy Family Church on Tuesday, 21st. December, 2005, for Nuala Abercrombie who retires at Christmas.

The Mass was to celebrate the many years of service Nuala has given to both the Holy Family School and to the parish.

The Church was full of her many friends, teachers and past and present pupils.

Nuala has been a teacher at Holy Family School for many years.
"It all began when Fr. Bustin called and asked if I could help teach the children with special needs," she recalls.

Nuala has been very involved in the Church as well. She plays an active role in preparing the year 3 children for Holy Communion.

"It has changed a lot since Kieran and Fr. Kevin arrived.
Now everyone is a lot more involved; even the parents."

"Through Holy Communion of their children many parents have gone on to increase their faith and become
baptised into our Church."
