We are most "Church" when we are welcoming new people in, when we are somehow spreading the good news. Holy Family parish is proud of its 'Sharing our Faith' programme. Those who are interested in becoming Catholics are invited to join the programme in September and last autumn no less than thirteen people came along!

At first they were shy and wondering what they had let themselves in for, but everything soon settled down and things became fun and interesting.
Each Wednesday the group meets under the leadership of no less than eight parishioners to have coffee, share some thoughts about our Catholic faith and spend some time in prayer.
By meeting over the period of months people have the chance to reflect on whether they really wish to become Catholics.

We are delighted that the thirteen "enquirers" that make up the group this year have decided that they do indeed wish to continue.

On Sunday, March 5th they will travel to our Cathedral in Northampton for what is called "the Rite of Election".
They will meet the Bishop and he will formally give them his permission to be received into the Church at the Easter Vigil, which takes place on Saturday, April 15th.
