The ladies of
The Langley Foundation
of the UCM
had their annual pilgrimage to Walsingham earlier this year.

They were accompanied by Father Kevin.

Ann Budd tells us the story of the
Langley UCM banner :-
About 20 years ago, we were without
a banner.

  I remembered that when my grandmother died, one of the mementos given to me was a (sort of) tapestry depicting the
Holy Family.
I mentioned this at one of our meetings and lo and behold, it was decided that we should make our banner out of it!
Kit Smith and Roni Russell undertook the work and did an excellent job.
My Gran (who was a member of the UCM and regularly attended the UCM Walsingham Pilgrimage) looks down from Heaven every July when her tapestry is carried with pride by the Langley Foundation.
